Cathy is a native San Franciscan who balances her professional passion for helping clients navigate their financial lives with her longstanding love for good food and good times. Cathy chairs the Bay Gourmet forum of the Commonwealth Club and organizes creative, informative events inspired by our local food culture. She prides herself on being “in the know” about the people and places that drive our vibrant Bay Area food community. Cathy is also a Board Member of CUESA (Center for Urban Education About Sustainable Agriculture) and a member of the Advisory Council for CAFF (Community Alliance for Family Farmers).

Chad’s career in public education spans more than twenty years and includes roles as teacher, legislative assistant, curriculum developer, and attorney.  He recently left his law firm to offer school districts better rates and personalized service and to allow time for new creative projects.  Originally from Nebraska and a part-time Paris resident, he loves high-quality, honest ingredients brought to the plate with integrity and intelligence.  Chad serves on the Advisory Board to the School of Education at UC Berkeley and is a passionate supporter of the Growth Art Creative Center, Telluride Film Festival, and the Bay Gourmet Forum of the Commonwealth Club.

Richard is a professional writer who lives to get to the heart of the matter. He has clients in four verticals: Technology, Education, Health Care and the Arts. As a writer, he helps marketing professionals and business owners communicate their value proposition clearly and with passion. Speaking of passion: Richard’s passion for good food began in the Bay Area when he and a future well known chef shared a roof and a kitchen in the Sunset district. Richard makes claims to making the juiciest, best tasting roast chicken you’ve ever eaten.

Joann’s creative eye and appreciative palette are born of a childhood on a cattle ranch in northwestern Nebraska. Open terrain and passionate food production excite her senses. A leading Bay Area physician for nearly 15 years, Joann loves to help her patients eat intelligently and enjoy what our local farms and ranches offer. Also a part-time resident of Paris with her husband Chad, Joann is moved by light, energy, and an honest moment.
